Minimum Order Policy

Minimum Order $30.00 (before tax and shipping)

It is impossible to inventory all the thousands of items we offer and many are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Many have minimum order policies and impose a special extra fee on the orders that do not meet that minimum. At checkout, if your order does not meet the minimum, you will have the option of adding more items to your cart, accepting the additional handling fee or canceling your order. We apologize for any inconvenience.

3 ways to find the products you need:

  • Browse our various departments using our department tabs located on the left side of the page. Then use the menu on the top of the page to find the types of items that are in each of our departments, or
  • Use "Product Search" and simply enter disability product name or a key word relating to the disability product in the search field.
  • Use our Site Map to see all product categories at a glance.

Needs Assessments/Quotations

Professionals working with disability claims, rehabilitation management, disability product quotation reports, product needs assessment summaries or disability product case studies, can utilize our "compare/alternate" feature to develop informative documents.

  • Product Compare: when individual disability products are selected, any comparable products that relate to the selected disability product will appear on the right hand side of the screen.
  • Product Alternative: any alternative products that might relate to the selected disability product will appear on the bottom of the screen.
  • Example : If you selected a one-handed-keyboard, comparable one-handed-keyboards similar in nature, appear automatically on the right. Alternative disability products that could be used instead of the one-handed-keyboard, such as voice recognition, and word prediction - appear on the bottom of screen. This feature will allow professionals and others the opportunity to quickly obtain not only product information but also alternative and comparable solutions to assist them when working with their client/claimant.

In addition, Simple Abilities helps professionals working with rehabilitation or disability claims to link to community service providers for local representation and service requirements. How To Shop Online

1) Decide Which Products You Would Like to Buy

  • Once you have selected a product that you would like, please click on the "Buy" Buy button button.
  • Or click on the product for more details, service information or if you need to choose a style or size.
  • You can continue shopping and add more items to your cart.
  • Ordering the correct size and getting the perfect fit is especially important when shopping online. Please ensure that you review these requirements within the product category when size and dimensions are required.
  • Please note that Simple Abilities has a 15-day no hassle Exchange Policy for most products.

2) Review Your Shopping Cart

  • Once you have finished adding your items to your cart, click on "View My Cart" at the top of the page.
  • From the Shopping Cart page, review the items and quantities that you would have ordered.
  • If you change anything on the Shopping Cart page, please click on the "Re-calculate" button to recalculate your order subtotal.
  • To checkout, click "Check Out"

3) Tell Us Where You Want Your Order Shipped

  • You will be prompted to provide your address so we can let you know the estimated delivery time and cost before you submit your order.
  • You can choose either regular delivery or express.
  • Click "Continue Checkout" once you have chosen your delivery option.

4) Tell Us How You Want to Pay for Your Order

  • Now you can choose how you want to pay for your order, by selecting any of the following: Visa, MasterCard or your Simple Abilities Account.
  • Enter your credit card or account information and click "Continue Checkout".
  • Check your Order Details, delivery and credit card billing address.
  • Click "Submit" and your order is complete.
  • Open a corporate account with Simple Abilities, and select "New Account".

Reliable Delivery

  • You can depend on our reliable delivery service across Canada and the United States.
  • We ship most orders within five to ten business days of order receipt. Because of the many variances in disability types, application requirements, environmental conditions and/or customization requirements, some products will be shipped direct from the suppliers warehouse.
  • Orders are typically delivered Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM PST.
  • International Orders and orders to Hawaii or Alaska - please select "International Order Form"

Delivery Calculator

  • You can view the cost of Regular Delivery when you have completed your shopping (except for International Orders).
  • Simply click on "Check Out" from the popup window that appears when you add items to your cart, or click on the same icon at the top of any page.
  • The cost of Delivery is available on the final checkout page when you "Review & Submit" your order.
  • Delivery charges are based on the size of your order and the delivery address. The delivery charges will be itemized on your sales receipt.

Returns Made Easy

  • Shop online with the confidence that your purchase can be returned or exchanged within 15 days but we cannot refund shipping charges.
  • You will receive your official sales receipt with your order. Please keep your receipt on file.
  • You may return new unused product for refund or exchange to Simple Abilities - some conditions apply.
  • If you made a gift purchase, the recipient may return the item to Simple Abilities for refund or exchange, but we cannot refund any gift-wrapping charges or shipping charges.
  • Please return your refund and exchange items in the original packaging.

Order Status

  • Once your order has been shipped, you'll receive an email confirmation. If your order is overdue and you have questions regarding the status, you can send an email to shipping@simpleabilities.com and we will initiate a trace to determine the status. Please note that regular mail, parcel post shipments cannot be traced.
